Alice CandorEating paint suggests a movement toward absorbing a new surface, an attempt to internalize a transformation that is currently only skin deep. You may find yourself trying to ingest the very qualities you wish to project, as if by consuming the veneer, you could make the change permanent. This dream may point to a desire to bridge the gap between how you appear to the world and how you feel within, using the act of swallowing to force an outward appearance into your inner core.
The process of taking this substance in can feel like a clumsy effort to stabilize a shifting identity. You might be reaching for a way to solidify a version of yourself that is still drying, seeking to make a temporary mask a part of your actual substance. This hunger for a new exterior carries the risk of a certain internal heaviness, where the effort to appear renewed becomes a weight you must carry. You are attempting to nourish yourself with the very thing that covers the truth.
A dream of eating fresh paint indicates that your efforts toward renewal are currently providing you with a sense of vital nourishment. This movement toward change is as restorative as the bright color is itself. You are finding a way to make the newness stick through the simple act of taking it in.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
