Alice CandorPreparing for a hurricane suggests that you are currently gathering the internal resources required to face an impending period of upheaval. This movement toward readiness indicates that while a storm of emotional or situational conflict may be felt on the horizon, you are not meeting it with passivity. You are attempting to build a shelter within yourself to protect the core of your identity from being swept away by forces that feel beyond your immediate control.
The weight of this dream lies in the recognition that such turbulence is inevitable and that your current efforts to fortify your life are a response to a genuine threat of instability. This preparation is a way of acknowledging the fragility of your current peace. By bracing for the impact, you are engaging in a necessary negotiation with the chaos that threatens to disrupt your foundations. The strength you find in this readiness is your own, as you organize your inner world to withstand the wind.
Watching a hurricane coming turns the dream into a confrontation with an approaching force that demands your attention. This sight sharpens the need to fortify your inner life, as the movement of the storm suggests that the period of turmoil you face is no longer a distant thought. You are watching the wind gather its strength.

Alice CandorInterpreter interprets your dreams
The figure that keeps coming back in a dream has usually been waiting a long time to be looked at. A dream tends to bring forward the side of a life that daylight leaves out. What feels alien in it might be the part of you most in need of a hearing. Nothing has to be settled tonight. Which detail stayed with you after waking?
